The 1,334-square-foot brick house sits up on a stone wall platform, which lends beautiful sunset views, especially in the winter. A spacious kitchen overlooks the mountains and gardens, and the cozy den has a wood-burning stove insert. Recent renovations include refinished hardwood floors, new vinyl flooring in one bathroom, new laminate flooring in the den, newly painted walls, cleaned duct system, new appliances, roof insulation and new metal roof. Oil or biofuels heat the home. The house has ample closet space, a back porch with washer/dryer hookups, and a covered patio overlooking an attractive passive solar greenhouse next door. The renters may have access to some land and a fire pit. One small pet will be considered. No dogs over 20 pounds please. The renters shouldn't mind me frequently on the grounds to redo the landscaping.
